MELANCHOLIC
what a word. i know my "fans" have been eagerly waiting for my new entry. something emotionally provocative. something sad. something about farewell.. well...
NAH! =) haha. too bad, mark, geoff, and mr melancholic. well, i am not that emo. heh. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i know i shd be studying.. but i just had a random thought. i remembered limmy telling me about learning not to expect anything from anyone. which reminds me... we have unlimited wants. we expect too many things. we wonder why people dont 'love' us in some case. we wonder why some ppl are so irritating. we are so upset of the things we cant have. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ but we tend to forget about the things we can do. the little difference we can make. which is why prayer of st francis never fails to move to. it is so easy to want to be love than to love. to receive than to give. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ anyways, a good song to share, titled The Lonesome Road, which most people who have heard of... well.. putting aside the lonesome road part, part of the lyrics goes.. "if i had stopped to listen once or twice. if i had closed my mouth and opened my eyes. if i had cooled my head and warmed my heart."
indeed. how much tears and anger, quarrels and disputes. if i had stopped to listen once or twice, opened my eyes and closed my mouth, cooled my head and warmed my heart. what a reminder. stop expecting, start giving. happy prelims people. =)
